Get perfectly focused photos and 4K movies. The Hybrid AF (autofocus) system is fast, accurate and incredibly smooth. The sensor's AF points cover approximately 90% of the frame horizontally and vertically for stunning sharpness across the entire frame. Subjects stay in focus whether they're in the center, off to the side or moving.

The image is uncropped, so you can make full use of the camera's large DX-format sensor. You can also capture stills while recording movies and create dramatic 4K time-lapse sequences.

See clearly

The ultra-bright electronic viewfinder (EVF) lets you see everything clearly, whether you’re shooting stills or videos. The EVF can display a natural image, similar to a DSLR optical viewfinder. Or you can see how your photos will look after you’ve adjusted your settings. The image remains smooth and steady, even when you zoom in to check for proper focus.
