Using a phase-detection Fresnel (PF) lens, the weight of a prime lens is significantly reduced, without compromising image quality. A minimum focusing distance of just 3m helps you get creative. Whether you’re capturing close-ups of frosty flowers or portraits of athletes, you can extend your reach with the optional Nikon Teleconverter¹, which can be used to zoom in by 1.4x, 1.7x or 2x.
