VR is as much as four stops, effectively reducing blurring that can occur due to camera shake. Nikon’s exclusive Silent Wave Motor ensures faster AF performance. Not only is the construction more robust, but the fluorine coating on the front and rear lens elements is virtually water-resistant, dust- and dirt-repellent.
