The AF-S DX NIKKOR 16–85mm f/3.5–5.6G ED VR offers a 24–127.5mm zoom equivalent to Nikon’s DX-format DSLRs. The lens’s optical design, which includes three aspherical elements and two extra-low dispersion elements, helps deliver high sharpness, clarity and colour accuracy throughout the zoom range, making it ideal for everyday shooting. A super-integrated coating also controls lens flare and ghosting for improved contrast in bright and backlit conditions. The optics are supported by VR II image stabilisation, which compensates for up to 3.5 stops of camera shake to help ensure sharp images when shooting handheld. It also features a Silent Wave Motor for fast and precise autofocus performance and full manual focus override.
