It enables seamless 10G connectivity both downstream and upstream by connecting directly to AON networks (Active Optical Networks) via your LANCOM multi-WAN or central site SD-WAN gateway. Thanks to the direct fiber-optic connection with transmission rates of up to 10 Gbps, there is no need for additional provider modems or complex cabling.

The uncomplicated connection of a LANCOM SFP-AON-10 module is realized via the 10G SFP+ ports of the LANCOM 2100EF, WLC-2000, ISG-5000, and ISG-8000.
