MIDLAND XT50 operates in the 446.00625 - 446.09375 MHz frequency range, so they do not require any permits, you can communicate freely. The radio station supports scan mode.

Two speaking modes

The MIDLAND XT50 can be used in the traditional Push To Talk mode or in VOX mode, where transmission is activated by voice. This feature is very convenient for both beginners and advanced users.
