The Uni-T UT256A is a True RMS clamp meter that allows for convenient current measurement by placing the wire inside the open clamp. This design simplifies operation, eliminates the moving parts typical of clamp meters, and enhances comfort during daily use. The model can measure AC current up to 200 A, AC/DC voltage up to 1000 V, resistance up to 60 MΩ, and frequency from 10 Hz to 10 kHz, making it ideal for a wide range of service and diagnostic tasks.

Practical features and ease of use

A maximum reading of 6000, automatic range switching, and True RMS technology ensure convenient and accurate measurements. The device is equipped with an NCV function for non-contact voltage detection, as well as Data Hold, a continuity buzzer, an LCD backlight, automatic shut-off, and a low-battery indicator. Weighing 248 g and measuring 217 × 58.8 × 38.5 mm, the meter remains comfortable for everyday use, and compliance with safety categories CAT II 1000V and CAT III 600V enhances workplace safety
