Thanks to quad-core processors AMD Ryzen™ series V1000 V1500B and connectivity 10GbE/2.5GbE, the 9-position device TS-h973AX offers a hybrid storage infrastructure with high capacity in a compact physical design. With five 3.5-inch slots for SATA 6 Gb/s drives, two 2.5-inch U.2 NVMe SSD slots (slots 1 and 2 support U.2 NVMe and SATA SSD drives) and two 2.5-inch SATA 6 Gbps SSD slots, the TS-h973AX device can use SSD cache to support IOPS-intensive applications. With the QuTS hero operating system based on the ZFS device, the TS-h973AX ensures data integrity and supports block inline deduplication and data compression, an almost unlimited number of SnapSync snapshots in real time to meet the needs of critical file servers, virtualization servers, collaboration in video editing or effective applications for backing up and restoring data with enterprise-level reliability and lower overall costs.
From version 5.2.2, it is possible to install QuTS hero on NAS based on ZFS.
