Integrated GPS receiver and external GPS antenna

The GPS receiver determines your location, direction of movement and speed using information from GPS, GLONASS and SBAS. The received location information can be used for DSC calls. To improve the performance of the GPS receiver, an external GPS antenna is used. The IC-M330GE is the first marine VHF radio station that complies with the latest marine ITU standard ITU-R M493-14. This standard essentially requires an external GPS antenna. ITU-R M493-14 will be mandatory from November 2018. All Class D marine radios will have to comply after this date.

New, easy-to-use ICOM user interface

The new user interface provides simple operation of the radio. The rotary selector, directional keypad provide intuitive operation.

Large Dot-matrix display

The large, high-resolution dot-matrix display (38 x 73 mm) allows you to see all information and is highly visible.

Compliant with DSC specifications

The integrated DSC function monitors Ch. 70 (DSC channel) activity, even when listening to another channel. DSC functions include: distress, individual, group, all ships, urgency, safety, position request/report, polling requests* and other DSC signals.

IPX7 protection (1.0m depth for 30 min)

The IC-M323 can withstand immersion in water up to 1m depth for 30 minutes.
