Garmin Quickdraw Contours

As you navigate the shores and depths of your current location, Quickdraw Contours bathymetric mapping software creates high-resolution depth maps of your current location, with no special knowledge required. STRIKER™ Plus 4 can now store up to 8,000 sq. km of area with 30 cm contours.

CHIRP Transducer

The STRIKER Plus 4 sonar uses Garmin CHIRP technology to deliver the high level of detail you expect from Garmin. The clear images produced by the transducer provide excellent target separation in shallow or deeper waters. Bottom contours are clearly visible even at higher speeds, and the signal frequency at greater depths can be suppressed for a clearer view of the bottom of the boat.

GPS Receiver

The integrated, high-sensitivity GPS receiver finds and pinpoints your location anywhere in the water. GPS lets you mark waypoints in different locations, so if fish gather in one spot, you can mark it and return to the same spot on your next trip. You can also mark docks, boat ramps, and other areas of interest to you on the water. The GPS receiver also allows the STRIKER Plus 4 to display your boat speed on the screen, so you can be sure you’re moving at the right speed. This is a great tool to know if you’re fishing at the right speed for the bait you’re using and the type of fish you’re catching. This feature is also useful when fishing in areas where boat noise is restricted.
