Tamron expands its range with three fixed focal lengths for Sony E-Mount cameras with full-frame sensors. In addition to high F/2,8 light intensity, they offer a short throw distance (1:2 reproduction ratio) and are extremely compact. The ultra-wide-angle 20 mm F/2.8 Di III OSD M1:2 (model F050) allows you to create completely new image compositions. The ultra-wide-angle 24 mm F/2.8 Di III OSD M1:2 (model F051) literally expands the horizon. And the standard wide-angle 35 mm F/2.8 Di III OSD M1:2 (model F053) is ideal for everyday photography. The short minimum focusing distance allows you to capture a wide range of subjects - landscapes, still lifes or family snapshots - with very dynamic perspectives in a unique way. The fixed focal lengths are lightweight and compact - even if you take all three, you can travel without any worries. Special optical glass elements, including ko, LD (Low Dispersion) and GM (Glass Molded Aspherical) elements, suppress aberrations in optical reproduction. The legendary Tamron BBAR (Broad-Band Anti-Reflection) coating reduces stray light and lens flare. In addition, in-camera image corrections* can be used to fully exploit the potential of high-resolution image sensors. These fixed focal lengths open up completely new creative possibilities!

Features and functions

The minimum focusing distances for 20mm, 24mm and 35mm are 0.11m, 0.12m and 0.15m respectively. All three lenses offer the highest possible reproduction ratio of 1:2, allowing even small objects to fill the frame. The user will never again be disappointed because they were unable to get close enough to their subject. These features allow them to compose images with extremely dramatic perspective (close objects appear larger and distant objects appear smaller). The large aperture of the F/2.8 also allows for unique shots with attractive background blur.

Lightweight and compact lens body

The lenses were designed specifically for compact mirrorless cameras. At just 64mm long, they are extremely comfortable and easy to handle. The overall length does not change when focusing, allowing users to shoot close-ups without accidentally touching the front lens.

All lenses for mirrorless system cameras share a compact and lightweight design. Even as a complete set, they can be easily transported together. Conveniently, all lenses in the series have the same filter diameter (67 mm), so one UV and polarizing filter set is enough.
