Tamron 12-20mm F/2.8 ( A084S ) is a professional ultra-wide-angle lens designed for Sony E-mount full-frame SLR cameras. Covering a wide 12-20mm focal length range with a bright constant F2.8 aperture, it delivers exceptional edge-to-edge image quality while maintaining excellent low-light performance throughout the zoom range.

Its advanced optical design consists of 17 elements in 12 groups, helping to reduce distortion, chromatic aberrations and sagittal coma flare, ensuring exceptional sharpness across the frame. This makes the lens an excellent choice for landscape photography, architecture, interiors, night photography, astrophotography and creative video production.

The high-speed VXD (Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive) linear autofocus motor delivers fast, quiet and highly accurate focusing for both stills and video. A close focusing distance of just 18cm at the wide end allows photographers to create dramatic close-up compositions with impressive background perspective.

Designed with professionals in mind, the lens features a Tamron Toned Profile Next design that offers improved ergonomics, premium handling, and a durable exterior. Additional controls include an AF/MF switch, Focus Set button, zoom lock, and an aperture click on/off mechanism that allows for smooth aperture adjustment during video recording.
