This high-performance standard lens, made of metal on the outside, is classified as Art and is designed exclusively for mirrorless interchangeable lens cameras and has the same angle of view as a 60mm lens (35mm equivalent focal length) Micro in the Four Thirds system. Two glass Molded aspherical lenses, including a double-sided aspherical lens, perfectly correct all types of aberrations. An internal focusing system corrects aberration fluctuations to maintain image quality regardless of focal length. Sigma Super Multi-Layer Coating reduces flare and ghosting, and ensures sharp, high-contrast images even at maximum aperture. The excellent telecentric optical design improves image quality across the entire frame. The optical design also makes the lens compact and lightweight. This lens features a newly developed linear AF motor that directly drives the lens elements, eliminating the need for gears or other mechanical parts. This system provides precise and quiet autofocus, making the lens suitable for both video and still photography. The lens features a rounded 7-blade diaphragm that creates attractive blurring of out-of-focus areas. This Sigma 30mm F2.8 DN has a minimum focusing distance of 30 cm/11,8 inches and a maximum magnification ratio of 1:8.1, and is available in silver or black.
