Impressively versatile in range and a portable form factor, the Canon EF-mount 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM from Sigma is a modern telephoto zoom that features sophisticated optics and flexible control. One FLD element and three SLD elements are used to reduce color fringing and chromatic aberrations throughout the zoom range, while Super Multi-Coating also helps suppress flare and ghosting for improved contrast and color accuracy when working in bright light.

Balancing the optical design, this lens also features a Hyper Sonic Motor, which delivers ultra-fast and quiet autofocus with full-time manual focus override. An optical stabilizer also reduces camera shake for sharper handheld shooting. A detachable, rotating tripod collar is also included, making it suitable for use on a tripod or monopod.

Part of Sigma's Global Vision Contemporary line, this lens is designed to balance comfort and performance, with a compact, lightweight body and versatile handling with notable optical performance.

The telephoto zoom is designed for full-frame Canon EF cameras, but can also be used with APS-C models, where it provides a 240-960mm equivalent focal length range.

One F-low Dispersion (FLD) and three Special Low Dispersion (SLD) elements are incorporated into the optical design and help reduce color fringing and chromatic aberrations for improved clarity and color accuracy.

The lens elements have been coated with a super multi-layer coating to reduce lens flare and ghosting and produce contrasty and neutral color images even in backlit conditions.

The integrated HSM (Hyper Sonic Motor) combined with the rear focusing system ensures fast and quiet autofocus, complemented by an optimized AF algorithm for smoother focusing. HSM also allows full-time manual focus control by simply rotating the focus ring at any time.
