Two-thirds shorter and half the weight of conventional macro lenses

While macro lenses are typically quite large, Panasonic has used its unique technologies to successfully reduce the overall size. Compared to conventional macro lenses, the LUMIX S 100mm F2.8 MACRO is approximately two-thirds shorter and half the size. The compact and lightweight system, which weighs just 2.2 pounds when combined with the LUMIX S5II, can be used with one hand.
