The AF-S DX NIKKOR 16-85mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR offers a 24-127.5mm zoom equivalent to Nikon's DX-format DSLRs. The lens's optical design, which includes three aspherical elements and two extra-low dispersion elements, helps deliver high sharpness, clarity and color accuracy throughout the zoom range, making it ideal for everyday shooting. A super-integrated coating also controls lens flare and ghosting for improved contrast in bright and backlit conditions. The optics are supported by VR II image stabilization, which compensates for up to 3.5 stops of camera shake to help produce sharp images when shooting handheld. It also features a Silent Wave Motor for fast, precise autofocus performance and full-time manual focus override.
