The FUJINON XF16mmF2.8 R WR has a focal length equivalent to 24mm (35mm format) and a maximum aperture of F2,8. This helps to achieve the best results using Fujifilm's unique X-Trans™*1 CMOS sensors. The small and lightweight lens boasts very high resolution performance due to its optical design. The XF16mmF2.8 R WR lens features an internal focusing sistemą*2 driven by a stepping variklis*3 for faster and quieter autofocus. Extensive use of metal parts on the exterior provides a premium yet solid feel, while the aperture and focus rings are designed to be comfortable and easy to use. The lens is also weather and dust resistant, operating even in temperatures as low as -10°C, making it ideal for shooting in a variety of conditions.

The XF16mmF2.8 R WR will expand the compact, lightweight and stylish lens lineup that currently includes the FUJINON XF23mmF2 R WR, XF35mmF2 R WR and XF50mmF2 R WR, further expanding the appeal of the FUJIFILM mirrorless digital camera.

High-definition performance

The lens features 10 lens elements arranged in 8 groups, including two aspherical elements. The optimal arrangement of aspherical lenses suppresses spherical aberrations and field curvature, maintaining high performance from the center of the screen to every corner.

Compact, lightweight and stylish design

The lens weighs just 155g and is 45.4mm long. It is the widest lens in the compact prime lens series. The aperture and focus rings feature precise click stops and smooth damping for improved performance. The metal exterior uses the same design style as the XF23mmF2 R WR, XF35mmF2 R WR and XF50mmF2 WR for a solid and premium feel.

Fast and quiet autofocus

The internal focusing AF system uses a stepping motor to drive lightweight focusing elements for fast and quiet autofocus.

Weather and dust resistant, can operate in temperatures down to -10°C

The lens is weather sealed at nine points around the barrel, making it weather and dust resistant. It is rated to operate down to -10°C. When used with the weather and dust resistant FUJIFILM X-Pro2 or X-T1/T2/T3 and X-H1 bodies, users can confidently shoot in rainy or dusty environments without worrying about the conditions.
