The focal length is equivalent to 87mm in 35mm format, and it achieves the sharpness of F2.0, kai when used wide open to create beautiful bokeh. With high in-focus resolution and rich bokeh, this unique and medium format fast lens captures portraits with a realistic three-dimensional feel. It features fast and quiet AF thanks to a linear motor, is dust and weather resistant, and can operate even in temperatures as low as -10°C. High image quality

This medium telephoto lens, with a focal length equivalent to 87mm in 35mm format, delivers fantastic bokeh thanks to its large F2 aperture, making it the perfect portrait lens. Using four ED lens elements, this high-image quality lens limits chromatic aberrations by well balancing elements before and after the aperture. With the internal focusing AF system optimized for optimal configuration, aberration fluctuations due to changes in shooting distance are suppressed.

Beautiful bokeh

Adopting a construction of 14 elements in 9 groups, including 4 ED lens elements, spherical aberrations and chromatic aberrations are suppressed. Nine rounded diaphragm blades create a beautiful bokeh effect at both the front and rear, allowing for excellent expression of out-of-focus areas typical of medium format lenses.

High workability

The aperture ring has a C position (command dial mode), allowing the lens aperture value to be changed using the command dial on the camera body to suit the photographer's preferences. A locking mechanism has been added to the A (auto) and C positions to prevent unintentional movement of the aperture dial.
