The EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM offers an effective focal length range of approximately 16-35mm in 35mm film format, making it a great lens that delivers exceptional image quality and opens up exciting new dimensions and horizons.

Designed specifically for digital photography, the lens features specially shaped elements, while Super Spectra Coating suppresses ghosting and flare caused by reflections from camera sensors. An optional premium lens hood can further reduce flare.

Background blur
When shooting with a wide aperture, the annular aperture creates a pleasing background blur; this is great for creating a sense of depth and making a subject or model stand out from the background.
