The lens uses "Canon" four-stop image stabilization technology, which automatically detects normal movement when shooting or reviewing a panoramic image and switches to the optimal image stabilization mode for that situation.

Ultrasonic focusing

The ring-type ultrasonic motor drives autofocus extremely quickly and almost silently. The excellent rotary adjustment rings ensure that the focus point is reached precisely without overexposure. Full manual control allows for precise focus adjustment without switching off autofocus mode.

A fluorine coating prevents dust and water particles from adhering to the front and rear lens elements, ensuring optimal image quality.
