The interface adds a rearview camera to your car and displays the image on your original car radio (which must be pre-installed). Some adapters are plug-and-play solutions, while others require connecting cables or other modifications. The v.LiNK interface allows you to connect a rear view camera, front camera and another video source (e.g. USB player, DVB-T2 tuner, ...) to the vehicle manufacturer's factory infotainment system.

Limitations :

Video only:The interface ONLY transmits video signals to the infotainment system. The existing factory AUX audio input or FM modulator can be used to provide audio signals.

Factory reversing camera:Automatically switches to RVC only when reverse gear is engaged. Delaying the return requires additional electronics.

Universal front camera:The front camera will automatically turn on for 10 seconds when you disengage reverse gear. Manual switching to the front camera is possible using the external keypad.

Parking sensors:If the video interface does not receive the required information from the vehicle's CAN bus, neither the guidance nor the optical PDC display will be supported.
