The ICOM IC-M423G has an easy-to-understand control interface. The rotary selector and directional keypad provide quick and easy access to all functions. The high-contrast LCD display with white backlight and control buttons perfectly match the design of modern boats.

Active noise cancellation technology

The integrated active noise canceller works very effectively. It reduces background noise by up to 90% in the received signal and 30% in the transmitted one.

10W audio amplifier

The IC-M423G has a built-in 10W speaker amplifier that can be connected to an external PA speaker. The public address function allows you to make announcements to the entire ship without the need for any additional equipment.

Complies with the latest Class D DSC specifications

The IC-M423G complies with the latest Class D regulations (ITU-R M493-13 and EN 300 338-3). The integrated DSC function monitors Ch. 70 (DSC channel) activity, even when listening to another channel. DSC functions include: distress, individual, group, all ships, urgency, safety, position request/report, polling requests* and other DSC signals.

Integrated GPS receiver

The built-in GPS receiver will display your current position, date, time and can be used for DSC calls. An optional external GPS receiver can also be connected.

Additional equipment White Backlit COMMANDMIC™ HM-195GB/GW

With the optional COMMANDMIC, the IC-M423G can be conveniently used in the cabin or tower. All functions of the IC-M423G can be controlled from the COMMANDMIC.

AIS Target Call

When the IC-M323 is connected to an optional MA-500TR Class B AIS transponder, the AIS function allows you to make individual DSC calls without manually entering an MMSI number.

IPX7 protection (1.0m depth for 30 min)

The IC-M323 can withstand immersion in water up to 1m for 30 minutes.
