Integrated GPS with simplified waypoint navigation

Simplified navigation guides you to your destination using GPS information (including GLONASS and SBAS). Navigation has two functions: direct flight to a point and route flight. The IC-A25N can store up to 10 routes and 300 waypoints. Location information can be imported from an Android or iOS smartphone and used as a waypoint. Requires the RS-AERO1A / RS-AERO1I app.

Flight plans with Android™ or iOS™ app

Using the RS-AERO1A (Android) or RS-AERO1I (iOS) app, you can create flight plans on your Android or iOS device and import the plan to the IC-A25N via Bluetooth. Four functions are available:
1. Creating a flight plan
You can create flight plans on your Android or iOS device using pre-programmed waypoints.
2. Flight towards the destination
You can select a point on the map and export it to the IC-A25N.
3. Flight plan information
The IC-A25N flight plan can be displayed on an Android iO device.
4. Show waypoint information
Pre-programmed waypoints can be exported to an Android or iOS device and displayed in a map app.

VOR navigation features

The CDI (Course Deviation Indicator) is like a real VOR instrument and shows any deviation from your course. The OBS (Omni Bearing Selector) allows you to change course from your original flight plan. The TO-FROM indicator shows the relationship between your aircraft and the OBS selected course. The ABSS (Automatic Course Setting System) feature allows you to set the current course as a new course in two simple steps.

Search function for the nearest radio station

The Nearby Station Search function helps you access nearby stations. The function searches for nearby stations using the station memory that contains GPS position information. To use the Nearby Station Search function, the position data and frequencies of the ground stations must be programmed.

Leading in power output in its class

The output power has been increased to approximately 6W (PEP) and 1.8W typical (carrier) compared to the IC-A24 (5/1.5W (PEP/carrier)). This extends the communication distance and increases the safety of aircraft operation.

Easy-to-manage settings

Frequently used functions are accessible via buttons, so you can directly access the desired function. The enlarged buttons ensure smooth and fast operation.

2.3 inch large bright LCD screen

The large, bright LCD screen provides easy-to-read graphics. The night mode option makes it easy to see everything in the dark. The large symbols for the operating frequency can be quickly recognized.

Flip-Flop channel selection

The IC-A25N stores the last 10 channels used. You can easily select these channels using the directional buttons on the top panel or the channel knob.This is convenient for switching between multiple channels, such as NAV and COM channels.

Bluetooth® hands-free kit installed

Wireless Bluetooth® headsets from other manufacturers, such as 3M™, Peltor™, WS™ 5*, provide convenient hands-free operation. Additionally, the sidetone function can be used with the optional VS-3 Bluetooth® headset. * Compatibility is not guaranteed.

Detailed battery status information

You can see detailed battery information. The standard BP-288, 2350mAh battery provides up to 10.5 hours of working time. You can check the battery status on the battery status screen. This is very useful for optimal charging and battery health maintenance.
