The whole package is complemented by a flashing panel consisting of three high-brightness LEDs, which effectively discourages pests from entering the hood.

The repellent features an electronic module that turns the device off when the car's engine is started and automatically turns it back on when it is turned off. This feature distinguishes the VIANO® product from the competition – repellents from other companies lack this functionality. A fuel-efficient power supply allows the device to operate for up to 5 months on a charged battery (without the risk of discharging during normal vehicle use).

Security:

The device has short-circuit protection in the installation.

Under the plastic cap (3) shown in the graphic, there's a standard fuse that protects the device against accidental short circuits or overvoltage. If the fuse blows, it can be easily replaced.
