To help drivers stay alert and on the road, zūmo® XT2 provides helpful alerts for sharp bends, speed changes, railroad crossings, animal crossings, school zones and more. It also alerts you when you’re drifting into the wrong lane or going the wrong way on a one-way street. You’ll also receive alerts for speed cameras and speed cameras. If you’re on a long trip, the fatigue warning feature will suggest a break after a set period of time and recommend places to stop. For added safety, zūmo navigation includes automatic incident detection that sends text messages to your phone contacts if you’re involved in an accident.
The zūmo® XT2 also comes with a trip computer with a fuel economy calculator, so you can easily estimate how far you can go on your remaining fuel. When you need to refuel, you’ll get directions to nearby gas stations. A handy speed limit indicator lets you know when to slow down. There’s also a digital compass and a motorcycle-specific Points of Interest (POI) database that makes it easy to find service centers, dealers, and more. The Service History Log feature helps you stay on track with your maintenance schedule based on time and mileage.
While traveling with the zūmo® XT2, the “Active Lane Guidance” feature will provide you with voice information, and with the help of bright arrows on the screen you will clearly understand which lane to choose for the next turn or exit from the roundabout. Also, the zūmo “Up Ahead” feature will help you easily notice interesting places and sections along the route, without leaving the map view on your navigation screen. “Easy Route Shaping” will allow you to add points on the map so that you can drive through desired areas or specifically selected roads.
