Zūmo® XT2 provides useful notifications about sharp bends ahead, railway crossings, animal crossings, school zones and more . In addition, notifications are provided when you cross the opposite lane or drive in the wrong direction on a one-way street. If you go on longer trips, the fatigue warning function will suggest a break after a certain time and recommend places to stop. . For added safety, the zūmo navigation has an integrated automatic traffic accident detection function, which will send text messages to selected contacts on the phone if you get into a traffic accident yet can be overcome with the available fuel. When you need fuel, you will get directions to where gas stations are. A convenient speed limit indicator tells you when to slow down. There's also a digital compass and a points-of-interest (POI) database for riders, where you can easily find service stations, dealers, etc. The Service History Log function will help you follow the schedule of maintenance actions based on time and mileage.

Navigation tools

During your trip with zūmo® XT2, thanks to the "Active Lane Guidance" function, you will be provided with voice information, and with the help of bright arrows on the screen, you will clearly understand which lane to choose for the next turn or exiting the ring. Also, the zoom function "Up Ahead" will help you to easily notice interesting places and sections during the route, without leaving the map view on your navigation screen. "Easy Route Shaping" will allow you to add points on the map to drive through desired areas or specifically selected roads. In addition, voice navigation commands will help keep you focused on the road. Zūmo® XT2's "Garmin Real Directions™" feature fundamentally changes the way you view voice instructions. Instead of using street names, it tells directions based on easily recognizable landmarks, buildings, or traffic lights (eg, "Turn left after the red building").Zūmo also supports TracBack®, which lets you retrace your steps back to your starting point. .
