The True GPSMAP 276 Experience

The new GPSMAP 276Cx was developed from the legendary GPSMAP 276C, which was arguably the most versatile and powerful portable navigator Garmin has ever created. To ensure the same GPSMAP 276 experience, Garmin has left the familiar user interface that most users have come to love. Even the control button keypad is exactly the same as its predecessor. GPSMAP 276 fans will appreciate the large amount of customization options they get when purchasing their new navigator and they will be surprised by the amount of innovations that have been added to the classic GPSMAP 276 model.

Advanced sensor technology

The GPSMAP 276Cx has been completely updated with sensor technology. The navigator uses GPS and GLONASS satellites to determine its position more accurately, and for even better satellite fixation, you can use an additional GPS antenna (not included) for which an integrated MCX connector is provided. To improve the presentation of information, there is an integrated barometric altimeter that will accurately indicate changes in altitude. A 3-axis compass that will always show the correct direction in any conditions, even when you are not moving.

Outdoor-optimized user interface

We know how important it is to see all the information during navigation, so we designed the new GPSMAP 276Cx with a large 5-inch, color, sunlight-readable display. Thanks to the wide viewing angle, it is clearly visible from any position. So even when installed in the cockpit, the navigator will always be perfectly visible, and the button control will allow you to fully control the device in any environment, e.g. when riding an ATV.

Sturdy and durable

Built to Garmin's high standards, this navigator can handle a variety of environments. It is extremely durable and has IPX7 water protection. This is achieved with reliably tested body mounting elements. 4 years of experience with Montana, allowed us to create mounting elements for any land or water vehicle. To give you even more freedom, we made the device even more flexible in choosing a power source - you can connect the device directly to the car or boat power source, use NiMH batteries (up to 17 hours of operation) or 3 additional AA batteries (up to 9 hours of operation).

No matter where you're going, GPSMAP 276Cx has the right compatible map for you. It comes with 8GB of onboard storage preloaded with a world basemap, a recreational map of Europe, and a free one-year subscription to BirdsEye Satellite Imagery. It's also compatible with BlueChart marine maps, Lithuanian TOPO, City Navigator, Garmin Custom Map, and BirdsEye Select raster maps.The microSD card slot will always allow you to install additional maps if you need them.

More navigation

Along with its mapping capabilities, the GPSMAP 276Cx offers additional features, such as the familiar nüvi™ car navigation or the option to select winding roads for motorcycle riding, which selects more winding roads for a more enjoyable ride. When used with TOPO PRO maps, the device can select different routes based on the type of activity or vehicle. For those who want to use navigation on established routes and tracks, the GPSMAP 276Cx also provides this additional option.

Expanded connectivity options

The new GPSMAP 276Cx has new connectivity options. You can connect your GPSMAP 276Cx to a Bluetooth headset to receive TTS voice prompts directly to your helmet. Or, by connecting to a smartphone^{1 ,} you can receive weather forecasts², weather radar data directly on the map window, and smart notifications such as email, SMS or social network notifications. LiveTrack allows you to share your position with friends and family in real time. The navigator can also connect to external ANT+ accessories, such as tempe, an external temperature sensor, or you can connect via WiFi to Garmin Connect to transfer data from your device or receive device updates
