Records high-quality 1080P HD video
Dash Cam is an easy-to-use high-definition video recorder. With a wide viewing angle, it will reliably record the entire view of the road and the detailed time where and what happened during the traffic. Rely on your Dash Cam, it will record excellent image quality in both light and dark times of the day. Attach the video recorder to the windshield and record your ride in 1080P resolution. The video recorder records continuously using the included microSD™ card. You can always expand the memory size by inserting another larger microSD card (fits up to 512 GB, purchased separately; Class 10 required). Play recordings immediately on the screen of the recorder or later on your computer.
Your witness that never blinks
No need to worry about turning it on or off. If the Dash Cam is connected to a power source, it starts recording automatically and marks the recorded locations if an incident occurred.
All events have time stamps, so you will know exactly when it happened. When viewing the recordings on a computer, you will be able to see the date and time of your trip.
Dash Cam has a built-in motion sensor (G-Sensor), so during the event, your camera will know to save previous, current and next videos in order to protect complete information about the event. And all of this will be recorded on the microSD memory card.
To fully appreciate the consequences of the event, you can remove your Dash Cam from the mount and take photos from the outside of the car.
Share your journey with Travelapse™
Travelapse mode makes it easy to create and share travel clips, recording hours-long journeys into short clips of travel highlights.
Sync videos with your smartphone
Dash Cam has integrated Wi-Fi® wireless connection, so you can synchronize the recorded material with your smartphone by downloading the free Garmin Drive app. This will make it easier for you to share the recorded material with your friends or insurers.
Monitor the car during parking
Parking mode monitors your car when it is parked and the engine is turned off. The camera starts recording automatically after motion is detected. (Additional Garmin parking cable required, purchased separately; self-installation recommended.)
INTERNET STORAGE
Saved videos are stored in online storage and can be accessed using the Garmin Drive™ app on a compatible smartphone. Once Wi-Fi® is enabled, you can share your videos with others by sending a link and a secret code.
