Assembled wooden educational STEM constructor "Walking Dinosaur (Brachiosaurus)". The moving dinosaur makes science visible, understandable and fun. Children learn by observing how mechanics work in a real model. The constructor is suitable for children and students who want to get acquainted with the basics of mechanics, robotics and engineering.
Features:
A builder, toy and educational tool all in one, this engaging building set brings prehistoric engineering to life. Young creators can build a mechanical dinosaur that walks using a clever system of gears and joints.
The Brachiosaurus has movable legs and an articulated tail mechanism that shows how movement is transmitted through the different mechanical parts. Once assembled, the dinosaur moves forward with the realistic stepping motion of a quadruped.
During assembly, the child develops fine motor skills and accuracy, and during testing, he consolidates scientific concepts.
The model is made of laser-cut wooden parts that are assembled without glue using the included components. The wooden parts are smooth and durable. Once assembled, the child can color, decorate and give it a unique look.
Easy assembly: simple and clear instructions allow children to assemble the toy with minimal adult supervision, making the set suitable for both independent work and activities with parents.
STEM (Science + Technology + Engineering + Mathematics) are educational methods that integrate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics into a coherent learning model to prepare the younger generation for a world of rapidly evolving technologies.
This is a great choice for a gift, as well as for schools and educational institutions where simple, reliable and clearly functioning educational models are needed.
Operating principle:
The model has an electric motor that allows the dinosaur to move (walk). Movement is controlled by pressing a button.
Transmission of motion: An electric motor inside turns axles through gears that are connected to the legs. This is a great example of how rotational (spinning) motion is converted into linear (walking) motion. The legs are connected to levers that synchronously move the tail during movement, which moves slightly to the sides when "stepping".
Educational value: During assembly, children learn about mechanics, the basics of robotics, and engineering principles.
Purpose: for home learning, classroom learning, project activities.
