Educational STEM constructor - a wooden elevator model kit. The constructor helps children get acquainted with the basics of physics and engineering in the simplest way.
Features:
A builder, toy and educational tool in one. The educational set allows future engineers to design, assemble and operate their own working miniature elevator. The toy captivates young builders with an engaging blend of engineering ingenuity and educational fun.
During assembly, the child develops fine motor skills, accuracy, and engineering thinking.
The model is made of high-quality, child-safe materials. The sturdy construction allows it to withstand many trips up and down, ensuring safe and enjoyable play. The model is also suitable for educational activities.
Young engineers can paint and decorate their elevator with decorations to give it a unique style.
Easy assembly: simple and clear instructions allow children to assemble the toy with minimal adult supervision, making the set suitable for both independent work and activities with parents.
STEM (Science + Technology + Engineering + Mathematics) are educational methods that integrate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics into a coherent learning model to prepare the younger generation for a world of rapidly evolving technologies.
This is a great choice for a gift, as well as for schools and educational institutions where simple, reliable and clearly functioning educational models are needed.
Operating principle:
The elevator is powered by a direct current (DC) motor that raises or lowers the elevator car through a system of pulleys and ropes. The battery holder has an integrated control panel with buttons to control the direction of movement.
Motor Operation: The toy demonstrates how electrical energy is converted into mechanical energy.
Changing the direction of current: When using the control panel, it is understood that by changing the polarity of the electricity, the motor starts rotating in the other direction (this is how the elevator goes up or down).
Pulley system: The child sees in practice how a rope and a wheel (pulley) help change the direction of force and lift loads.
Force and Motion: Understand how torque (from a motor) is converted into linear motion (up/down).
Weight and balance: When designing, you have to make sure that the cabin moves evenly and does not hit the sides, which teaches the principles of stability.
Problem solving: If the elevator gets stuck or doesn't move, the child needs to analyze the cause: maybe the screws are too tight, maybe the rope is loose, or maybe there is a bad contact in the wires.
Educational value: The model practically teaches the principles of physics and electrical engineering: power transmission through pulleys, energy conversion into motion, and controlling electrical circuits by changing the direction of current.
Purpose: for home learning, classroom learning, project activities.
