Educational STEM constructor - a wooden fan model kit. The constructor helps children get acquainted with the basics of physics and engineering in the simplest way.
Features:
A constructor, toy, and educational tool all in one, the educational kit allows future engineers and meteorologists to assemble and operate a working miniature fan while learning about aerodynamics and engineering technology.
The toy helps to understand the science of airflow and the importance of climate control, inspiring future engineers and environmental enthusiasts.
During assembly, the child develops fine motor skills, accuracy, and engineering thinking. The model helps to understand the structure of a simple electric fan and how everyday objects surrounding the child work.
The parts are made of high-quality, child-safe materials. The sturdy construction is suitable for use and safe play. The model is also suitable for educational activities.
Young engineers can paint and decorate the toy with decorations to give it a unique style.
Easy assembly: simple and clear instructions allow children to assemble the toy with minimal adult supervision, making the set suitable for both independent work and activities with parents.
STEM (Science + Technology + Engineering + Mathematics) are educational methods that integrate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics into a coherent learning model to prepare the younger generation for a world of rapidly evolving technologies.
This is a great choice for a gift, as well as for schools and educational institutions where simple, reliable and clearly functioning educational models are needed.
Operating principle:
The main part of the model is a DC motor, which, receiving energy from the batteries, rotates the propeller and creates air flow.
The fan is turned on/off by a switch.
Circuit building: By connecting the battery holder, switch and motor, the child learns what a closed electrical circuit is. When the switch is turned on, the electrical circuit is closed, and electricity flows from the batteries to the motor. The motor coil, under the influence of a magnetic field, begins to rotate. This converts electrical energy into mechanical - rotational motion, which turns the propeller, and the propeller creates air flow.
Engineering literacy: Develops the ability to read blueprints and connect components correctly to make the system work (e.g., not mixing up polarity so that the fan blows air forward instead of backward).
Educational value: The model practically teaches the principles of physics and electrical engineering, the conversion of energy into motion, and the control of electrical circuits.
Purpose: for home learning, classroom learning, project activities.
