Place a tree stump in water and it will slowly grow much larger and a capybara will pop out! The tree stump measures 3.5" x 2.25" x 2.5" when unpacked. The full-sized capybara measures approximately 3.5" x 2" after about 72 hours. Dry and reuse. It shrinks in salt water, although most shrink simply from the air when removed from the water. This is a fun bath or pool toy! Ages 8 and up. Expanding water toys, or toys designed to grow in water, are made from a superabsorbent polymer. Superabsorbent polymers are long chains of molecules that absorb huge amounts of water as the water is drawn in and held by the polymer molecules. These polymers can absorb up to 500 times their weight in water. These are toys that expand after being in water for several days.
