The Black Goddess Within Oracle deck changes the narrative around Black bodies, Black women, and Black people by presenting images of Goddesses from across Africa. Illustrating the divinity, power, and purpose inherent in the Black lived experience, these images illuminate the humanity and beauty of Black people while inspiring profound insights. To create the deck, the author and a group of Black women went through a transformative process during a retreat, culminating in a photo session of each participant meeting the Goddesses. These Goddess images have been given an aura of magic and mysticism to inspire and provide imagery of positivity and change. Giavanni writes, "I created the Black Goddess Within Oracle Deck to be both a portal to connect with Spirit/God/Universe and a tool to help the reader develop intuition in creating, sustaining, and protecting their own self-help practice.
