The GF120mmF4 R LM OIS WR Macro is a medium telephoto macro lens specially designed for the new G mount and 43.8 x 32.9mm sensor. Capable of resolutions up to 100MP, the GF lens range combines the latest technology with the extensive knowledge gained from the XF lens range to deliver the best possible image quality and unleash the full potential of the new GFX 50S medium format mirrorless camera. Intuitive controls include a C position on the aperture ring, allowing you to adjust the aperture value using the command dial on the camera body. The A (Auto) and C positions are now lockable, and all lenses are weather and dust sealed, and can operate in temperatures down to -10°C, so you can shoot outdoors with confidence. The device is made of brass for durability. This new lens series is designed to become a professional work tool.

High image quality

The lens construction, consisting of 14 elements in 9 groups (including 3 ED lenses), ensures high-resolution images with minimal aberration thanks to a floating focusing system. The three ED lenses are optimized to minimize chromatic aberration, ensuring the best possible image quality with beautiful front and rear bokeh.

Fast, quiet autofocus

A floating focus system with two linear motors drives the autofocus lens group, ensuring fast and quiet AF performance.

Weather/dust resistant, -10°C low temperature performance and fluoride coating

The lens has nine weather seals, so you can shoot outdoors in wet, cold, or dusty conditions. The front lens element also has a fluoride coating that repels water and dirt, further enhancing the lens's durability.

Operation

The aperture ring has a C position (command dial mode). This allows you to control the aperture using the command dial on the camera body. The A (AUTO) and C positions are lockable to prevent incorrect operation. The focus range selector allows you to set the optimal focus range for macro and mid-telephoto use to reduce autofocus time.
