Both Nitelab and NITECORE belong to SYSMAX which is dedicated to exploring LED technology to reinvent the flashlight LED solutions. NiteLab cooperates with an industrial partner to jointly develop the UHI LED Series, specially designed for flashlights. Featuring high light density and high beam intensity. the UHI LED utilizes the round light emitting surface (LES) to achieve an optimal lighting effect and beam distance, which challenges the impossible and begins a new era of the flashlight LED.

Lightweight and Tough
Weighing Just 122g (4.30 oz), the EDC27 UHI features a high strength stainless steel body to withstand heavy pressure and resist bending. The surface is treated with a PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) titanium coating for excellent durability and resistance to scratches and fingerprints.

Built to Last
Advanced Sandwich Construction
Front and rear stainless steel shells fused with a high strength carbon fiber composite frame, secured by six sets of connector bolts, to achieve a lightweight yet rigid construction that resists compression, twisting, and bending.

Semi-embedded Heat Dissipation Design
Achieves excellent heat dissipation comparable to other high output compact flashlights
The heat dissipation plate almost extends from the head to the tail, which helps conduct and disperse heat quickly. The striped design on the body not only projects heat outwards to prevent overheating but also increases contact with air for enhanced cooling efficiency.

Brightness Level Preset Function
Preset the flashlight's brightness before turning on to match different tactical situations. The custom settings also help avoid harsh glare during daily use.

Sensor Protection Function
When the flashlight is off, if there is an obstruction near the light outlet and the flashlight accidentally accesses HIGH/TURBO/STROBE, the flashlight brightness will automatically decrease to avold overheating.
