"Olympus" is pleased to introduce the world's first macro flash, whose lightweight and compact design is resistant to dust, splashes and frost (-10°C), making it ideal for any environment - be it a tropical forest or a desert.
"STF‑8" supports flash photography, kai is used with cameras that have focus stacking and continuous focus modes. This feature is particularly useful for shooting flowers, insects and commercial studio photography.
The included adapter ring is compatible with the "M.Zuiko Digital ED 30mm 1:3.5 Macro", "M.Zuiko Digital ED 60mm 1:2.8 Macro" and "M.Zuiko Digital ED 12-40mm 1:2.8 PRO" lenses.
This compact macro flash offers versatile and creative lighting options by allowing you to control the output ratio of each individual or dual head. The Kai uses both dual flash heads, with a guide number of 8.5, while the kai only uses one - 6. In addition to TTL auto sync mode, you can also set the flash in 1/3-stop intervals and 1-stop intervals using the flash control when using the camera in manual mode. The master flash can also control multiple flash units.
