The FineVu GX400 benefits from many of the solutions and technologies found in the more technologically advanced GX1000 model, becoming a more affordable version with slightly more modest equipment. The recorder also features built-in GPS, Wi-Fi, a speed camera and section camera alert, ADAS Plus driving assistance systems (FVMA and LDWS), and innovative "Format Free" recording technology, which frees the user from the need for frequent maintenance formatting of the memory card to maintain full device functionality. The FineVu GX400 is also available in a 1-channel version without a rear camera (GX400 1CH model). Video from both cameras is continuously buffered in the internal memory, so event recordings (e.g., a collision) cover the period 10 seconds before and 10 seconds after the event. The proprietary "Smart" time-lapse recording mode (variable frame rate) significantly saves space on the memory card. It allows you to record up to 5 times more real-time data compared to standard recording without compromising image quality or smooth motion in event recordings. The FineVu GX400 recorder is equipped with an energy-saving parking mode with very low current consumption from the vehicle battery (approx. 5 mA), as well as a fully professional parking mode with shock and motion detection (front and rear), along with systems that protect the vehicle's battery against deep discharge. This mode also works in hybrid vehicles with on-board electrical systems with increased voltage to over 13V after the ignition is turned off (e.g. Hyundai, Kia).
