B+W Grey Filter 110 With an exceptional light reduction of ten stops (filter factor 1000x), the 110 continues what the 106 began with: experimental photography with very slow shutter speeds. Continuous light trails leading people along roads and squares become blurred or even 'invisible'. The flowing effect on moving water becomes even more extreme. For physical reasons, the filter creates a slightly war-like tone, which can be removed using white alsa or an image processing program. An essential criterion for a great filter is the coating. Filters coated with MRC (Multi Resistant Coating) have a multilayer coating on both sides, ensuring high transmission and maximum anti-reflection surface. Scattered light is eliminated, resulting in brighter colors and higher contrast. Thanks to the low residual reflection of only 0.5%, the MRC reliably prevents image artifacts that can be caused by repeated reflections from the sensor surface. In addition, MRC protects the filter from scratches by increasing the hardness of the layer, while maintaining high optical quality. In addition, MRC is resistant to dirt and water, making cleaning much easier.
