The B+W 010 UV Haze MRC 46x0.75 mm filter blocks UV rays. Although these rays are invisible to the eye, they affect your photo, i.e. it acquires a blue tint, loses contrast and brightness. It is especially suitable for use on a sunny and clear day, in the mountains or by the sea. Since the filter glass itself is colorless, it has no additional effect on the photo. Therefore, when using this filter every day, it performs a protective function against unwanted dust, sand or water. This filter is coated with a special MRC (Multi-Resistant Coating) material. This is a water-resistant coating: it repels water droplets and allows them to drain. It provides high lens protection: the hard coating protects against scratches and dirt stains.
