The interface adds a rearview camera to your car and displays the image on your original car radio (which must be prepared for this). Some adapters are plug-and-play solutions, while others require connecting cables or other modifications. Please read the installation instructions beforehand or contact us with any questions. In addition to the adapter, you'll need a rearview camera.

Limitations

• CAN bus compatibility -CAN bus compatibility of the interface may be limited to certain vehicles or to specific functions. This may be noticeable both during installation and later. The interface with all video inputs can be operated via analog switching signals without the need for connection to the vehicle's CAN bus. Individual additional functions have been omitted; see below.
• Video only -The interface does not transmit any audio signals. To connect audio signals, you must use the existing factory AUX audio input or optional products (e.g., FM modulator).
• Factory rear camera -Automatic switching to the RFK input occurs only as long as reverse gear is engaged. Optional accessories are required for different switching times.
• Aftermarket front camera -Switching to the front camera occurs automatically when reverse gear is disengaged for 5, 10, 15, or 20 seconds (depending on the OSD menu setting). Manual switching to the front camera is also possible using the external button.
• Route lines -If the vehicle's CAN bus is not fully compatible with the interface, the routing function cannot be used.
