Trailer adapter 13/7-pin EPTA04

EPTA04 12V 7-pin to 13-pin Trailer Adapter. Universal electrical adapter designed to connect a vehicle's electrical system to a trailer, flatbed trailer, caravan, or bike rack equipped with a different type of connector. Allows for switching from a socket 7-pin on the connector 13-pin, without the need to modify the vehicle's electrical system. The adapter works well when the vehicle has a 7-pin socket and the trailer or other equipment is equipped with a 13-pin plug. It transfers the basic lighting functions available in a 7-pin installation, such as turn signals, position lights, brake lights, and fog lights. 7-pin function diagram (ISO 1724 compliant):

• Pole 1 (L) - Function: left turn signal - Wire: yellow
• Pole 2 (54G) - Function: Fog Lights - Wire: Blue
• Pole 3 (31) - Function: ground - Wire: white
• Pole 4 (R) - Function: Right turn signal - Wire: Green
• Pole 5 (58R) - Function: right side lights - Wire: brown
• Pole 6 (54) - Function: Brake lights - Wire: Red
• Pole 7 (58L) - Function: left side lights - Wire: black

The 7-pin to 13-pin adapter transfers the functions available in a 7-pin installation. Additional functions typical of a full 13-pin installation, such as constant power or reverse light, may not be supported if they are not present on the 7-pin socket side.
