Three-phase to single-phase electrical adapter CEE 32A, 5-pole to 3-pole

This CEE 32A adapter is designed to connect a single-phase 230 V electrical device with a blue CEE 32A (3-pole) connector to a red CEE 32A (5-pole) three-phase mains socket.

The adapter allows the use of a single phase with neutral and ground from a three-phase 400 V CEE 32A socket, so that the connected device receives 230 V single-phase power supply.

One side of the adapter is a red CEE 32A 5-pole plug (3P+N+E) for connection to a three-phase electrical outlet. The other side is a blue CEE 32A 3-pole connector (P+N+E) for single-phase 230 V devices.

Where is it used?

The adapter can be used when it is necessary to connect a device that has a single-phase blue CEE 32A connector to a three-phase CEE 32A electrical outlet.

Important

Although the adapter input is connected to a 400 V three-phase socket, the output uses a single phase with a neutral wire, so a single-phase device is supplied with 230 V.

Before use, it is necessary to ensure that the mains, CEE connectors, cable and device to be connected are suitable for a 32 A load. The adapter must not be used above its nominal current of 32 A.
