Simply remove the original adapter and place the MDF spacer in its place, followed by the speaker. Before installation, drill holes in the spacers for the speaker mounting screws to prevent stripping the screws or delaminating the speaker ring.

• The spacer ring for Lanos allows you to install 165mm speakers in place of the factory 10cm speakers in the doors.
• Installation is straightforward, meaning you simply unscrew the original plastic adapter and screw the MDF ring into the same location, then attach the speaker to it with screws. The ring's dimensions are 144mm speaker opening and 26mm thickness.
• mounting the spacer requires drilling 4 holes for the screws securing the spacer to the sheet metal, this design of the spacer is due to the small hole in the sheet metal (after the 10 cm loudspeaker) and the use of an MDF base would significantly reduce the cross-section of the hole behind the loudspeaker and limit the maximum mounting depth of the loudspeakers
