The BOYA BY-BM3032 is a cardioid directional microphone for mounting on cameras or camcorders. The microphone has a safe channel option, which helps you choose the desired sound level when you are not sure what volume you will record. The microphone also has a 5db boost button for high frequencies, which helps record even higher quality sounds in situations such as using the microphone outdoors with wind protection. With a 3.5mm. connector, the microphone can be used with cameras, camcorders and other portable devices. The microphone operates for about 30 hours using two AA batteries.
