A self-adhesive, very lightweight, and flexible professional-grade foam mat with a spongy structure, characterized by high sound absorption efficiency, impregnated with a special polymer composite with refining additives. The sound-absorbing impregnation further improves acoustic properties, protects against moisture, protects the base material from aging, and gives it a unique ability to slowly return to its original shape after compression (the so-called shape memory effect). CTK SilenceFix soundproofing mats are soft and easy to install on flat or complex surfaces. They are designed for use inside vehicles, primarily behind upholstery and headliner elements, as a highly effective material for absorbing noise in the mid- to high-frequency range (hum, whistling, etc.). Thanks to their non-aggressive elasticity and ability to adapt to shape, CTK SilenceFix sound-absorbing foams are also perfect for damping cracks, creaks and resonances of plastic elements of the cabin and car upholstery (e.g. door panels, headliner, cockpit, center console, etc.), acting as a soft, shock-absorbing and moisture-repellent spacer between two vibrating surfaces (e.g. between the door panel and the inner door panel).
