CTK Practice, a vibration-absorbing material in the form of a self-adhesive mat made from a butyl and polymer composite, characterized by a low resonance frequency, good adhesion to the substrate, and very high installation flexibility. The outer surface features an embossed aluminum foil, 0.06 mm (60 micrometers) thick, which provides mechanical protection, strengthens the damping material, and further improves its acoustic properties. CTK Practic mats successfully combine high quality and good damping effectiveness at an attractive price. This gives products from this series many practical applications in various fields and industries. In a comparable price range, CTK Practic mats have one of the highest mechanical loss factor (MLF) values, which determines a material's ability to effectively dampen vibrations. These mats are designed for basic, affordable damping of noise, vibrations, and acoustic resonances in vehicle body components (doors, floor, roof, trunk, engine hood, upholstery, etc.). They can also be used indoors, for example, to silence industrial machinery and equipment, computer enclosures, air conditioning units, household appliances, and even metal sinks, shower trays, and bathtubs.
