A self-adhesive, very lightweight and flexible sound-absorbing material (acoustic felt) based on a compressed natural nonwoven fabric with a high density (650 g/m²). It has high sound absorption capacity and good thermal insulation properties. Thanks to its high flexibility and single-sided adhesive, CTK CaiMat sound-absorbing mats are very easy to install on surfaces of flat or complex shapes. They are designed for use in dry areas inside vehicle cabins, e.g., behind carpets, upholstery, and headliner elements, as a highly effective material for absorbing noise across a wide range of frequencies (floor, engine compartment bulkhead, dashboard, trunk, inner wheel arches, roof, door panels, etc.). The material has good air permeability and increased abrasion resistance. It is non-toxic, odorless, environmentally friendly, and does not cause allergic reactions.
