The Mugen 6 spotlights an improved heatsink and a new fan to take full advantage updated design features.
Keeping the height of 154mm the heatsink boasts a 45% increase in fin count. This arrangement with higher fin density achieves improved thermal conductivity. Like its predecessor the Mugen 6 features an asymmetrical design that avoids blocking the ram slots by slightly shifting the heatsink to the back and also away from the GPU. An improved soldering process guarantees a tighter bond between the six high quality nickel-plated copper heat pipes and the baseplate.
The Mugen 6 includes the new Scythe Wonder Tornado 120mm Fan, featuring a 9-blade vortex-type design and a reliable Sealed Precision Fluid Dynamic Bearing. The re-adjusted fan hub-to-blade ratio ensures excellent silent performance while reaching a maximum speed of 2000 rpm. Rubberized pads covering the frame have a decoupling effect and prevent the transmission of noise and vibrations. These features result in a fan which provides a powerful airflow while remaining remarkably quiet.
The easy-to-install H.P.M.S. V mounting system offers optimal contact pressure and compatibility to the latest CPU Sockets on the market including Intels LGA 1700 and AMDs AM5. A pre-assembled mounting bar with spring-loaded screws ensures balanced pressure distribution.
Enhanced Heatsink Design
The heatsink boasts a 45% increase in fin count while maintaining a sleek height of only 154mm. This arrangement with higher fin density achieves improved thermal conductivity.
Asymmetrical Design
The offset heatsink design ensures high compatibility with various cases and motherboards while shifting the cooler slightly away from the GPU and avoiding interference with front-row RAM slots.
