Frankincense - Frankincense (also known as olibanum) is an aromatic resin used in incense and perfumes, obtained from trees of the genus Boswellia, which belongs to the Burseracee family.

The word comes from the Old French "Francencens" (high-quality incense). Incense is also associated with many religious rituals and sacrifices and is particularly prominent in Christianity, where it is one of the three gifts offered to the child Jesus.

The resin has long been valued for its beautiful, spicy, slightly lemony scent and healing properties. It helps combat anxiety and reduces stress, inducing feelings of calm, relaxation and contentment.
