The TS-E 17mm f/4L is an ultra-wide-angle tilt-and-shift lens that provides wide-angle imaging for cameras with APS-C and full-frame sensors. Tilt and pan movements can be controlled independently of each other, allowing for independent control of depth of field and perspective, further increasing the versatility of the lens.

With a 104° diagonal field of view and ±6.5° tilt, ±12mm shift and ±90° rotation, the TS-E 17mm f/4L is one of the most flexible lenses of its kind. In addition, the push and tilt mechanisms have locks to prevent accidental movement.

High precision lens elements
The ultra-precise, large-diameter cast glass aspherical lens element provides exceptional definition across the entire image area and minimizes distortion. Four UD (Ultra Low Dispersion) elements overcome the color distortion that often occurs in wide-angle photography.

Sub-wavelength structured lens coating
Designed for digital photography, Canon's proprietary lens element coating helps reduce ghosting and flare caused by internal reflections for sharp, clean photos.

Sturdy body
Canon's L-series lenses are built to withstand continuous use in the most demanding environments. Additional protection is provided by insulation against dust and weather. A lens hood and a basket are also included.
