Ultrasonic focusing A ring-type ultrasonic motor drives autofocus extremely quickly and almost silently. The excellent rotary control rings ensure that the focus point is reached precisely without overexposure. In addition, the full-time manual override allows focus to be adjusted without leaving AF mode.

Super Spectra coating Super Spectra coating ensures precise color balance and high contrast. It also suppresses flare and ghosting by absorbing light that may be reflected by internal lens elements and the camera's digital sensor.

Ring diaphragm The annular aperture creates a smooth, even background blur, allowing you to perfectly isolate your desired subject from the blurred background.
